You get picked up at your Accommodation at 4.30 a.m. and travel by our air-conditioned Vehicles to the Fijian Outback. Fiji has about several species of terrestrial and freshwater birds, 70 endemics, and about 10 introduced species. From brightly colored Parrots to smaller Dainty Birds, the Fiji Islands are home to several beautiful birds.
We take you on a journey into the heart of Fiji to encounter some of Fiji's native and wild birds. The Island where you are most likely to glimpse the largest number of birds is Viti Levu. Some of them you will encounter are the Fiji Wood Swallows.
This stocky bird is endemic to most Islands of Fiji and has a white body and black-tipped blue bill. The Crimson Shining Parrot is one of the brightest and most recognizable birds in Fiji; The Sukphur-breasted Myzomela comes as a small bird with a yellow chest and red on its crown. The Collared Lory has a distinctive bright red body, dark purple crown, and green wings.
Enjoy the visit to the waterfalls followed by our Village Visit.
